Jindabyne TAFE – Connected Learning Centre

Jindabyne TAFE Connected Learning Centre (CLC) and Mobile Training Unit (MTU) is located in the Jindabyne Education Precinct and consists of a single storey building which is custom designed to utilise modern, digitally-enabled technologies, such as simulations and virtual reality experiences, to offer a wider range of choices, more accessible, practical training, and flexible learning in Regional areas and is supported by mobile training units (MTU), simulations, and virtual reality experiences.

DFP prepared a Statement of Environmental Effects for the construction and use of the CLC giving consideration to existing vegetation, the parent allotment and heritage constraints along with requirement for existing sewer diversion, the existing use of Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre and the proposed future development of Jindabyne Primary and High School. DFP subsequently prepared a s4.55(1A) Modification to extend the timing of the sewer diversion to align with construction timeframes.

Once approved and constructed, DFP subsequently prepared a Statement of Environmental Effects to subdivide the TAFE CLC site from the parent allotment.

The Jindabyne TAFE CLC and MTU demonstrates our commitment and understanding of statutory planning services for Tertiary Education Projects and localised requirements for development within the Snowy Mountains Region.
