DFP was engaged by Stockland to provide planning input and advice in relation to the redevelopment of Stockland Merrylands, located in the Merrylands Town Centre.

The redeveloped shopping centre has a total gross floor area of about 59,000m² and includes department stores, supermarkets, mini-major stores, a wide range of specialty retail shops, restaurants, food outlets, entertainment and community facilities.

The development applications for the staged redevelopment of the centre was the product of extensive consultation processes with the local community, Holroyd City Council and various state government agencies including RTA and Sydney Water.
