Melonba High School and Melonba Public School

Melonba High School and Melonba Public School is a new education campus located in the growing north-west of Sydney.

Melonba High School caters for up to 2,000 students, with 97 classrooms, including specialist classrooms for science, caters wood and metal workshops, performing arts, textile, hospitality and kitchen spaces, multi-media and visual arts classrooms and three specialist support classrooms. It also includes a new library, canteen, administration facilities, multipurpose hall and outdoor activity areas.

Melonba Public School caters for up to 1,000 students with 44 classrooms, three specialist support classrooms, a new library, canteen, administration facilities, multipurpose hall and outdoor activity areas.

DFP provided town planning services to support a State Significant Development Application (SSDA) including the preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement. DFP also prepared a Staging Report which allowed for staged operation of the two schools.

DFP provided further town planning services for the project including preparing a Section 4.55 Modification Report to support an amendment to the SSDA, and preparing a Statement of Environmental Effects to accompany local Development Applications for the establishment of a temporary high school and public school on a nearby site.
